Sped it up just a bit to make it looks smoother, and edited in a bunch of colour/blur enhancements and stuff that I've done with most of my recent uploads.
Just looks nicer overall, and since I wanted to upload it to YouTube too I figured I should fix it.
I didn't even draw it in anything close to HD quality, which is kinda annoying, but it was my very first one so I guess that's fine. Pleased that I did it without any reference help though.
The next DB one will be higher quality and should include accurate shading and decent lines etc. For now, just a few edits.
These are very cool, well done. Do you mind if I make a few suggestions? I know it would be a lot more work (I'm also an animator) but you should animate the shadows on their faces, especially when the lightning comes across. The part of the hair where it sits along the hairline should remain in the same place while the ends of the hair move the most, otherwise it makes the faces look especially static in comparison and I think it would just be more realistic. Anyway, just some advice, take it or leave it. These are really great either way.
Cheers! I don't really have the time to fully flesh out these animations, as they're kinda just fun little things I do between study and work, so as much as I'd like to have everything animated, including clothing and shading and all that I simply dont have the time haha. As you can with the rest of my animations sometimes I do animate the shadows and sometimes I don't, just a time thing. As for the hair I'm gonna have to call rookie mistake there, as this was my very first animation ever haha. Thanks!
